There are around 6,500 businesses in the Point Cook area and only a fraction of them are easy to find online. If you run a local trade, a clinic, a shop or a service business, a listing here puts you in front of people who are already searching for what you do, in the suburb you actually work in.

What a free listing gives you

  • Your business name, category and a short factual description
  • Address, map location and the suburb you are based in
  • Phone, website and public business email
  • Opening hours if you supply them
  • Your booking link, services list and a photo
  • A page you can point customers to, with your details, hours and location in one place

Listings are reviewed before they go live. We check that the business is real, that the details are not misleading and that the category fits. We may tidy wording, and we decline listings we cannot verify.

How to get listed

Send us your business name, address, the category that fits, phone, website and a short description using the contact details on the Contact page. If your business is already in the directory, you can ask to claim that listing instead of creating a second one.

Claiming an existing listing. Many records here came from public data. If one of them is yours, claiming it is the way to take control: you can correct details, add hours and photos, and respond to enquiries. We verify claims before handing over control, and a matching name or email is not enough on its own. Expect to show something that ties you to the business, such as a business registration, a listing on your own website, letterhead, or a reply from the email address already published on the listing.

Photos: what we can and cannot use

Send us photos you own: the shopfront, the workshop, the team, the finished work. One clear photo beats five stock images, and the first one becomes the featured image on your page.

What we will not do is lift photos from Google Business Profile, Google Maps, Yelp, Facebook or Instagram. Those images belong to whoever took them and those platforms do not permit republishing, which is why many listings here have no image. If we do publish a business's own logo or website image, it is credited in the listing's source note and removed on request.

Paid options

A free listing is enough for most local businesses. If you want more, these are available:

  • Enhanced listing. Longer description, services list, booking link and full contact block.
  • Featured placement. Your listing sits at the top of its category with a clear Featured label. We limit how many run in each category so the label keeps meaning.
  • Category sponsorship. A labelled sponsor line on a relevant category or information page.
  • Property advertisements. For sale, for rent and commercial listings from owners and authorised agents, each with a review date.

Two commitments: paid placements are always labelled as paid, and they never change suburb statistics, comparisons or corrections. We do not sell reviews or ratings and we do not promise enquiry numbers or rankings. Pricing is provided on enquiry, and no charge is activated until you have approved it in writing.

What money cannot buy here
Paid placement never changes the suburb statistics, the comparison tables or corrections. Reviews and ratings are not for sale, and no one can buy a better position in a factual table. Every paid placement is labelled as paid.

What we will not publish

False or unverifiable details. Services that need a licence where the business cannot show one. Photographs or descriptions copied from other websites without permission. Reviews or ratings we cannot attribute. Anything that impersonates another business.

Corrections are always free

If something on an existing listing is wrong, closed or out of date, use the Suggest a Correction page. You do not need a paid listing to get a correction made, and we will update or remove the record rather than argue about it.
