Everything that needs to happen on this site happens through a small number of clear routes. Find yours below and include the details listed, and it will be handled without a back and forth.
To list your business, or claim an existing listing
Use the Add Your Listing page. Send your business name, address, the category that fits, phone, website and a short description. If a record for your business already exists, ask to claim it rather than creating a second one, and be ready to show something that ties you to the business.
To correct or remove something
Use the Suggest a Correction page. Include the listing name, the field or figure that is wrong, what it should say, and a source if you have one. Corrections and removals are free, including for businesses with no paid listing.
To advertise
Paid options, including clearly labelled featured placements, are set out on the Advertise With Us page. Pricing is provided on enquiry.
Privacy requests
To ask what personal information the directory holds, or to have it corrected, use the correction route above and mark your request as a privacy matter. See Privacy and Terms for how personal information is handled.
How enquiries are handled
This is a small operation, not a call centre. Requests are read in the order they arrive and answered as quickly as possible, usually within a few business days. Submissions and claims that need verification take longer, because the checking is the point. Nothing is published without a review, and no charge is applied without your written approval.
One thing worth saying plainly: this directory does not charge businesses to be considered, to be corrected or to remain listed. There is no fee for the free listing and there never will be, and a paid placement is a separate, optional choice.
Directory inbox
A monitored directory inbox is being connected for launch. Until it is live, the correction and listing routes above are the fastest way to reach the directory, and every request sent through them is logged and actioned.
If your matter does not fit a route
Use the correction route and describe the request. It will be read and either actioned or pointed to the right place. That includes media questions, data licensing questions and partnership approaches.
Contacting a business directly
For anything about a specific business, its hours, stock, bookings or services, contact the business using the phone number, website or email published on its listing. The directory cannot answer for a business, and the listings are there precisely so you can reach them directly.
